Drainage slotted pipes can be used when excess of water in the soil causes softening or degradation of its mechanical characteristics. Pipes made of rigid PVC can stand all kind of underground water as well as seawater and acid or alkaline diluted solutions. Durvinil® RFS pipes can be subjected to repeated treatments with chemical substances commonly used to disinfect and regenerate wells.

External longitudinal ribs are realized on the external perimeter of the pipes, in order to avoid clogging of the slots, which can be caused by sand and / or gravel. Furthermore, thanks to these longitudinal ribs the pipe has a double permeability if compared to a smooth pipe having the same diameter, therefore is possible to reduce the diameter of the perforation in order to save time and money. External ribs also contribute to the structural stability of the pipe since they reduce the hydrostatic pressure that push on it.

Commonly, Durvinil® RFS drainage pipes are threaded male-male on both sides and supplied in length from 3 to 6 metres together with an ABS connection socket.

DURVINIL® DOUBLE WALL SCREEN

The filtering system Durvinil® Double Wall Screen is composed by two concentric drainage slotted pipes made in PVC and coupled by means of threaded flanges. The annular space between the two pipes is filled with a filtering material composed by thermoplastic calibrated spheres Dur-o-cell®.

Alternatively it is possible to change the filtering material of the pipe using quartz sand or thermoplastic compound whose granulometry can change according to the soil conditions.

Il sistema filtrante Durvinil® Double Wall Screen è costituito da due tubi microfessurati concentrici realizzati in PVC e accoppiati per mezzo di flange filettate.
L’intercapedine tra i due tubi è riempita da un materiale filtrante composto da sfere calibrate DUR-o-cell® realizzate in materiale termoplastico. Un riempimento alternativo può essere rappresentato da sabbia di quarzo o granulato termoplastico la cui granulometria può cambiare in funzione del diverso tipo di terreno.
