Sireg achieved in the last 20 years a leading position on the  international market, in the field of glass fibre bars (FRP) pultrusion for infrastructures.

Such material, composed by parallel and continuous glass fibres embedded in a polymer matrix, widened the field of application in geotechnics and civil engineering, thanks to its features. These pultruded products have high tensile strength (twice that of standard steel), corrosion resistance and lightweight. Furthermore they can guarantee a thermal, magnetic and electric insulation.

Durglass® products are a range of profiles and bars with high bonding surface, manufactured with polyester resin, designed for temporary applications (e.g. reinforcement of the excavation front) where a low shear strength of the material is very important, in order to allow the material to be excavated by means of the most common cutting tools without damage them.

Sireg manufactures bars in different shapes/sections as well as customized profiles upon request.
