Until few years ago, the application field of injections was limited only to very permeable soils (made of gravel and sand) or fissured
rocks. Nowadays however, the use of sleeved grouting pipes (TAMS) used together with suitable grouting mixtures, allowed to widening the kind of soils to be treated, giving the possibility to improve their mechanical and permeability characteristics.

The grouting technique by means of sleeved grouting pipes offers various benefits such as:

• injection can be carried out in various stages
• different mixtures can be injected for each grouting stage, in order to treat the soil in the most suitable way
• the treatment of the soil is carried out in a very accurate way, thanks to the sleeves mounted on the pipes according to the indication given by the customer
• possibility to repeat the injections to a later stage, through the same pipes already installed into the soil.
